(TheIndoDaily) As the country’s political climate heats up, the FIFA U-17 2023 is also heating up toward the final stage. The FIFA-17 2023 World Cup which is being held in Indonesia from Nov. 17 until Dec. 2, 2023, is now entering quarter final stage this week.

On Wednesday night (22/11), France’s young team crashed Senegal 5-3 through a penalty shoot-out after the normal time game ended with 0-0.

In another surprise, the Uzbekistan U-17 team beat England’s young team 2-1. This means France and Uzbekistan joined Brazil, Spain, Mali, Germany, Argentine and Maroko U-17 teams in the quarter-final stage.

The 2023 FIFA U-17 World Cup is the 19th edition of the FIFA U-17 World Cup, the biennial international men’s youth football tournament contested by the under-17 national teams of the member associations of FIFA.
